Digital Storytelling Example

Ms. Bland's Autobiography

My digital story was intended for those in between 1st-3rd grade. I tried to make my story simplistic as possible, so it was an easy example. My project that I did would be an easy way to introduce digital storytelling and an autobiography because it is taking pictures of the students and describing them. I did not require them to be in chronological order (although I did in my example); it would be a good extension for higher order thinking for those students who need to be challenged at such a young age.

  1. Hi Bryanna,

I like that you used a Prezi for your digital storytelling project. While I like the idea of using Prezi, I'm not sure if it is appropriate to use with 1st-3rd grade students. Prezi can be complicated for adults to figure out. I did think your story was well executed, however there were some grammatical errors I would correct before showing my students/parents. I like that you are having students write an autobiography(as long as students know what an autobiography is).

    Overall, great job!
